Back to School
Well, as Mikey said, school has started for us again. I’m actually taking 3 classes again this term… just hope I don’t get burned out by the end. I’m not terribly worried about it though as I only really have 1 hard class: ACTG 421: Intro to Taxation. Now, I like tax, but I saw last Spring what gets thrown at you in this class, and it’s not easy.
ISQA 360 is my Java programming class. I’ve already been through a C++ class, and I’m adept at PHP (considering I use it thoroughly on this site and at work, I should be), so this is not a class I’m terribly worried about. I figure it will be close to the level of work I had when I took VB.NET a couple years ago.
And my “fun” class is SCI 355U: Science Through Science Fiction. So, what do we do? We read 3 sci-fi novels in 10 weeks, and write a 2-3 page paper each week about the science-side of what we read. Not worried about this at all.
This term looks like it will be fun… mostly. I’m looking forward to it. Like Mike, I was burnt out last Spring too, and took the Summer off. But I’m ready to go. I hope this fall is great or all ya’ll too!
