Rain, rain, go away…

Monday, November 6th, 2006

Well, it appears that Mother Nature has finally figured out that it’s fall here in the Northwest. Up until late last week, we’d been amazingly dry. And everything was good.

I love the crisp autumn air that visits us in mid-October. It’s clear, cool, and very refreshing. Now that it’s November, we’re into our rainy season. What does that mean? Rain ’til mid-June. Yuck!

And just to update last week’s post: 2 hours after I posted that comment about MS Vista, I got a good download. I installed it that night, and have been using it ever since.

I’ve actually barely used XP since then. The new Aero Glass interface is very impressive. It’s an RC1 build, so it’s not perfect, but it gives me high hopes to the final version, which was just released to the manufacturer. I’m not thrilled with the price point Vista is going to be at, so I’ll have to make sure I get it while still a student. Gotta love those student discounts!

Spontaneous Continuity

Just to avoid confusion, I thought I’d point out that Issue 24 picks up where Issue 21 left off — at least for the purposes of continuing the loose storyline that connects most of our issues.

On a completely unrelated note, midterms have come and gone — and now I only have about two weeks to do all of my final projects. The upside: I’ll have absolutely nothing to do between Thanksgiving and finals.

Punctuality is the Thief of Time

So, this weekend I had a wedding to go to, two receptions, friends visiting from Australia, and a cold. In short, I got a little behind on the comic (don’t you dare apologize Deb — unless you want to apologize for leaving so soon! ;p).

Anyway, the comic will be up by Wednesday evening.
